Though the couple have been dating since 2016, they have never walked a red carpet together.
In May 2016, McAdams and Linden were spotted together in Paris just ahead of the screenwriter’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival for his movieMoney Monster. The two were spotted embracing as they waited in line for the famous Louvre art museum.
In June 2016, the coupleattended a wedding togetherin Virginia. The two were snapped posing for a photo with the bride and a group of guests during the nuptials.
He has two children with McAdams
McAdams waspregnant againin 2020 and later revealed in an interview to promoteDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessthat she had given birth to a daughter.
Linden and McAdams have been extremely private about their children and have not revealed the names of either child publicly. After the birth of their son, McAdams told theSunday Times, “I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn’t.”
He sold his first screenplay to Warner Bros., but it was never produced
Linden started in Hollywoodas an assistantat Mirage Enterprises for Sidney Pollack and Anthony Minghella. Then, at age 24, he sold his first screenplay to Warner Bros.
“The first screenplay I wrote with my friend Cory Helms, a University of Florida grad, unfortunately, was calledThings to Do Before I Die,” he explained in aninterviewwith Florida State University. “We got really lucky and Warner Bros. bought it and gave us a blind deal for another script.”
Warner Bros. never produced Linden’s first script, but the opportunity opened the door for Linden to pitch another idea — a film based on the real-life tragic story of a college football team that became the 2006 filmWe Are Marshall.
He has been a long-term collaborator with Channing Tatum
