Meghan Markleand Prince Harry are making it Instagram official!
Afterdeleting her personal Instagram(and all her other social media accounts!) before becoming a royal, the Duchess of Sussex is back on Insta — this time with her husband.
They captioned their very first post: “Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”- Harry & Meghan.
Harry and Meghan also shared a few of their favorite photos, which highlights their royal work. The nine photos include special moments from their royal tour to Australia last fall, Harry’s work with the military and his conservation efforts with elephants, Meghan’s bond with the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen and her connection with the public. The photo gallery ends with a dramatic black-and-white shot of the couple from their tour Down Under as they wave to the crowd while holding hands.
While Harry and Meghan racked up hundreds of thousands of followers in minutes, they only follow three accounts so far: ClarenceHouse, KensingtonRoyal and TheRoyalFamily (the official palace accounts).

Harry and Meghan’s own Instagram account is the first step in their transition to a new office. They have also been removed from the official Kensington Palace Twitter account, which now has a profile picture of William, Kate and their three children. The Twitter bio has also been changed to read: “The official account of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Royal Foundation, based at Kensington Palace.”

Meghan and Harry’s office will also be moving out of Kensington Palace and into Buckingham Palace, where the Queen resides. However, Meghan and Harry will be living at their new home in Windsor later this spring when they move out of their Kensington Palace cottage.
William and Kate’s office will remain in Kensington Palace, where they live with their three children.
“📷 The Duchess of Sussex,” thetweetsaid in part, making it clear Meghan was the photographer.
A few days later,Harry snapped a shot of Abel Tasman National Park in New Zealand from the sky, which was shared on Kensington Palace’s Instagram Story. “Traveling to the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park,” the post was captioned with a helicopter emoji and a photo credit to the Duke of Sussex.
Now that they have their own Instagram account, royal fans can expect to see more meaningful moments from the couple themselves.
