Looking as in love as ever, the couple walked the red carpet together at the2019 Academy of Country Music Awardsin Las Vegas on Sunday. And when they stopped to talk to PEOPLE, live-stream co-hostMichael Rayjust had to ask for some wedding-day wisdom ahead of his nuptials toCarly Pearce.
“Definitely show up,” joked Urban. “And don’t ever stop doing that!”
Added Kidman with a laugh: “Happy wife, happy life.”
Kidman and Urban, both 51, have been together since 2005.
They married a year later at a romantic wedding in Manly, Australia, and have since settled down in Nashville, Tennessee, where they’re happily raising their two daughters, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 8.

“I just love being able to be here because he’s so supportive of me and has given me so much and so much confidence,” Kidman told PEOPLE of attending the show with Urban, who is nominated for two awards.
“And the girls and I love traveling,” she continued. “We love traveling together, this is our life, this is what we do and it’s exciting for us. Really exciting.”
Ray, 30, and his fiancée Pearce, 28, met at the ACMs two years ago. Theygot engagedlast December and are set to tie the knot in October.

While interviewing Pearce on Sunday for PEOPLE, Ray called his wife-to-be “the most beautiful woman on the carpet.” She has been taking the lead on wedding planning (along with her mom).
“He’s so awesome to just say ‘yes’ and show up,” Pearce said. “It’s been really fun. We’re very [much] on the same page on a lot of things. We joke and say maybe we’re related, but it’s fine, we’re too far in at this point.”
