Jared Letocan addWheel of Fortunehost to his long list of credits!

On Monday, the 52-year-old musician and Oscar-winning actor subbed in as a host on the beloved game show alongsideVanna Whiteas part of an April Fools’ Day prank.

“Here are the stars of our show, Jared Leto and Vanna White,” the show’s announcer said as the pair walked out arm-in-arm and waved at the cheering audience.

Leto then told White, 67, “Have a great show and see you soon,” before taking his place at the wheel with the show’s three contestants.

“All right everybody, grab those devices, it’s time to give away some money,” Leto continued as he launched into hosting duties. “A $1000 in our first toss-up, the category is on the map.”

The show then switched back to regular longtime hostPat Sajakand continued as normal with no further mention of Leto’s surprise appearance.

TheThirty Seconds to Marsfrontman later shared a clip of the moment on hisInstagram Storywith the caption, “How’d I do? 🤣.”

Leto first appeared onWheel of Fortuneback in November when he and his brother (and bandmate) Shannon Leto were “contestants” on the game show to announce the band’s 2024 world tour.

And though Leto won’t be replacing Sajak asWheel of Fortunehost anytime soon, the longtime game show emcee is planning toretire from the showafter its current 41st season. He’ll be handing over the reins toRyan Seacrest, who described the opportunity as like being a“kid in a candy store.”

“You don’t mess with it, just don’t mess with it. Just get out of the way, say ‘Good evening’ and let’s play,” the 49-year-old told PEOPLE in September. “I think I have so much adrenaline rushing through my body. Excitement is the word because it’s such a phenomenal show. I’ve been a fan. I grew up watching the show. and I can’t wait to take over after the legendary Pat Sajak.”
