Last November , Hasbro announced a novel deal with Paramount to create a stove of movies base on its toy dog properties . On top of that , the deal will see the further elaboration of the Transformers movie universe , starting with this year’sBumblebee spinoff . But after that , the future of the Transformers saga could be in for some major changes .
Speaking as part of an Investor Preview presentation at New York Toy Fair earlier today , Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner lay out plans for the futurity of Hasbro and Paramount ’s shared movie ticket , from Bumblebee all the way to an untitled “ Paramount / Hasbro Event Film ” in 2021 :
Note no Transformers 6 to be find . But what ’s more interesting is what Goldner briefly had to say about the time to come of the Transformers films — indicting that , after Bumblebee , Habsro and Paramount would work together to “ readjust ” the future of the dealership :

We ’re actively developing unrecorded activeness and animated films , and have dated several under this unexampled agreement . We ’re worked up about this twelvemonth ’s transformer : Bumblebee , as we bring with the unexampled Paramount team to readjust the succeeding focus of Transformers . We ’ll be partly financing the production of these films , and Bumblebee is the first under the raw agreement .
