Initially , a Google support Twitter accountrecommendedthat Prashanth touch the manufacturer of his TV . But then another Twitter userchimed into say they were having the same outlet and post screenshots taken from his iFFalcon television set that ’s equipped with Android TV . gratefully , none of the private photos of the mistakenly link accounts were approachable . The two users who send about the bug were run Android 7.0 and Android 8.0 Oreo , respectively , so it appears that the number is present in multiple iterations of the software . But Prashanth said he was ineffectual to replicate the bug on his Android television - equipped Xiaomi Mi Box 3 .
When it became decipherable that the problem was most likely related to its software , Google decided to shut the feature down while it investigates further . The Google support accounttweetedthe following statement : “ We take any report like this very severely , so in the meantime , we ’re disabling Google Photos for Android TV and the power to remotely throw via the Google Assistant . ”
While it appear secret photos were inaccessible , that does n’t think of a forged actor who know what they ’re doing could n’t exploit the security cakehole to get their hand on substance abuser ’ pics or otherwise apply the business relationship names to direct users .
