Google I / oxygen 2021 is just a mates of workweek away , but in the run - up to its annual developer conference , Google may have just accidentally confirmed the existence of the Pixel Buds A on Twitter .
In a tweet from the official Android Twitter bill that has since been deleted , Google show up off a new version of its wireless Pixel Buds headphones , while note features such as “ quality sound , ” one - spigot Bluetooth coupling , and an update Fast Pair experience .
While Google may have jump the gun on the Pixel Buds A ’s proclamation , this is n’t the first metre we ’ve heard that Google has been working on an update to last year’sPixel Buds , which came out in the spring of 2020 .

Earlier this springiness , 9to5Googleposted a reportfrom a seed who claimed that Google was prepping to unblock the Pixel Buds A as an update and less expensive take on the standard Pixel Buds that would feature the same oecumenical designing in a handful of new colors , including the all - white color paint job see in a screenshot of the tweet above .
Many people expected that Google would formally announce the fresh Pixel Buds A at Google I / O 2021 , and while Google has since deleted the tweet , the timing of what seems to be an inadvertent tweet seems to intimate that may have indeed been Google ’s original program . Unfortunately , the cancel tweet did not cite anything about Mary Leontyne Price or availability , so we may need to pose fast as we wait for more official details from Google .
During Google ’s most late quarterly earnings call last workweek , Google CEO Sundar Pichai noted that Google will have some “ significant intersection updates and announcement ” come soon , which along with the Pixel Buds A could let in the Pixel 5a , some new surety cameras from Nest , and more .
