Blackmagic URSA : A Modular Cinema Camera with Insane Swappable sensing element
As you ’d presumptively hope for from a $ 6,000 television camera that fool 4 K video at 60fps , the footage is rich , unstable and … well , just look on it . It ’s amazing . John Brawley , who shoot the picture , claims that Vimeo does n’t really do the original ProRes HQ files justice , and well , that just makes us want to see the original .

Just in case you ’re interested , Brawley scud the footage using a Cooke 25 - 250 MK3 T3.7 zoom lens , onto several 128 GB SanDisk CFast 2.0 card at UltraHD ( 3,840 x 2,160 ) resolution . All but one prospect is shot at 60 Federal Protective Service and in 4K. When it finally becomes available , the URSA will be a delight — if you could stomach the monetary value tag end .
