We always see stories about people getting married in Las Vegas , but have you ever wondered what it ’s like to facilitate these unions ? We visited theGraceland Wedding Chapelin downtown Las Vegas and spoke with proprietor and Elvis imitator Brendan Paul who shared some outrageous news report from weddings over the year . We also chatted with general manager Brandon Reed , who confirmed that because the chapel service ’s been around since 1947 , there ’s no famine of interesting stories .
Here , they disclose what they ’ve fancy and what they ’re really thinking about all those couples who terminate up bind the mi , Vegas - style .

Nothing really surprises me.
I ’ve been doing Elvis for twenty years in this town , and the stableman or someone is always like , “ Thank you very much ” ( in an Elvis impression ) . They all laugh , and even though it ’s the 20th sentence I heard it that twenty-four hour period , I laugh too .
We see strange
A peeress and her hubby had a 25th anniversary coming up , but sadly he died right before they could lionise . She called and said , “ Can I come in and do a ceremonial occasion even though he ’s utter ? ” I said , “ Yes . ” She came in with a picture of him and rostrum with a pedestal . Somehow it was creepy-crawly and touch on at the same meter . Here daughter came along and the two face his photo and kissed it while she recited her vows . It was strange….and sad .
I’m hopeful
I wish to believe everything we post out lasts . I reckon it ’s a great affair . multitude recall because it ’s a Vegas hymeneals it ’s just fun and cockamamie and not earnest .

It’s not The Hangover
I ’ve notice people ’s expectation are relatively low-down . Some think it ’s going to be the Las Vegas they see in Hollywood , and we ’re constantly push a mark of getting wed in a cheesy , not meaningful way . That bother me because I really want people to remember what they ’re saying to each other . Couples are sanction by the license bureau and full - fledged rector . You have to appear to be normal , and can not be sloppy intoxicated .
Please wear clothes
Over the phone multitude will ask if they can get married “ of course , ” which is code for naked . It ’s not clothing optional . People reckon Vegas is “ anything get going . ”
I wonder if I’m being “punked”
Some years I front around and expect Ashton Kutcher to make out out . In this business just when you recollect you ’ve examine it all , something storm you . Some stories are tear - flick and other write up are off the grid :

They ’re act as a protector and try the score the couple a good deal or a limo ride . They become hyper - involved in the proceedings , and it ’s a pain in the neck in the you know what .

I ’ve come to realize it ’s not my place . These people have their own idea of what ’s sanctified to them . It does n’t matter . I ’m not the bozo to say this is how to do it . We just realize there ’s different stroke to dissimilar folks . We will conform to any postulation … within reasonableness .
