Dale Kelland , an so-called drawing card of the Nomads , call on all bikers to boycott the Marion Hotel after he learn the hotel did not welcome chapter fellow member who wore their emblem , according to a report from Canadian intelligence outletCBC .
Kelland — who has has more than 5,000 followerson Facebookand more than 1,000 followerson Instagram — posted the call to arms on societal media . He appears to have removed a Facebook and Instagram meme that learn “ Fuck the Marion Hotel , shitiest bar in Winnipeg , ” and include the comment “ This Bar in Winnipeg Discriminates Against Bikers and Their Supporters .. All Independent Bikers [ Motorcycle Clubs ] [ Rider Clubs ] and all Riding Groups Should Boycott this Smelly Crack Shack , ” followed by the poop emoji , toilet emoji , needle emoji , vomitus emoji , and other emojis , punctuated by another poop emoji .
CBC report hundreds of Facebook users stake one - star reviews on Marion Street Eatery ’s Thomas Nelson Page , which lower the score from 4.5 stars to 3 star .
Several daytime later , rockers pivoted their focus to TripAdvisor . A spokesperson for the change of location web site told CBC that it removed reviews that seemed to be consociate with the boycott crusade , because the company views it as “ vandalism . ”
Nomad supporters have also been posting on theMarion Hotel ’s Yelp pageboy , which currently features only two photograph — one of a young David Duke in KKK regalia and another of a man with his private parts hanging out of his shorts .
Update 5:30pm ET : A Yelp interpreter informed Gizmodo that the photos of David Duke and the man with his crotch hanging out of his short have been take out from Marion Hotel ’s varlet by Yelp ’s user operation squad for plunder content guidelines .
