onwards of the weekend , IGNhelped Boom pull up back the drapery onPower Rangers Prime , a brand name new risible byMighty Morphinwriter Melissa Flores andIron Fistartist Michael Yg that aims to allow a “ completely new get-go ” to enterRangersenterprise . The book will focus on Lauren Shiba ( the secondary Red Ranger fromPower Rangers Samurai ) as she ’s being hunted by a squad of Eltarians . While her exploits finally lead her to Angel Grove , Flores said the metropolis is “ not [ the style ] we think back , ” further punctuate by a deficiency of Zordon . As for other Rangers , she was tight - lipped , though she did reveal characters fromPower Rangers MegaforceandPower RangersJungle Furywould make appearances .
“ They will show up in dissimilar ways , not the ways possibly you expect them , ” said Flores . Primegives her and Yg “ the entire zeitgeist ofPower Rangers , ” and she amply intends to take advantage of it . “ We front at every single fibre ofPower Rangers , not just inMighty Morphin , but all over the piazza . ” How Lauren interacts with those characters depends on their tactile sensation on the Rangers in cosmopolitan , and the general vibration is thatPower Rangers Primegives the serial “ an ultimate existence , where context and event have make an totally dissimilar [ one ] we ’re sire to know . ”

“ We can take familiar elements that we love aboutPower fire warden , ” added Flores . “ We can summate young elements , and really turn this into a true comic experience in that we do n’t have to worry about what the other sensitive is doing . We can just sharpen on what we love aboutPower Rangersin this mirthful book series . ”
