Roller coasters make you feel like you ’re living biography on the edge ! But in reality , they ’re control — every drive is the same . But what if it was dissimilar ? What if ride would go quicker when you get scared ?

That ’s what a squad at Nottingham University is trying to do . They ’re trying to create rides that are controlled by the ‘ bio - feedback ’ people give them . For example , a ‘ clasp bronco ’ ride is operate through a medical sensor attach to the passenger . If he can control his respiration , he can ride the broncho in a controlled motion perpetually . If his external respiration gets faster ( aka he ’s getting scared ) , then the bronco will move Thornton Wilder and finally throw him off . Another ride they work up was a swing , and the same idea applied , if they panicked , the jive would shiver . If they kept serene , they could keep on swing .

It already vocalise fun , but imagine the possibilities ! Riding a super ridiculous roller coaster that hurry up the more scared you get ? spin in a teatime cup the more nauseating you feel ? It ’s going against your born instincts to shut down . Man that ’s terrifyingly fun . [ New ScientistviaGood.is ]
