Bloombergreported Wednesday that Qantas Airways and Virgin Australia had joined the growing listing of airline business enforcing policy around the MacBook Pros . In a statement by electronic mail , a spokesperson for Qantas evidence Gizmodo that “ [ u]ntil further observance , all 15 inch Apple MacBook Pros must be carried in cabin baggage and trade off for flight of stairs following a callback notice issued by Apple . ”

Virgin Australia , meanwhile , articulate in a “ Dangerous Goods”notice on its websitethat any MacBook model “ must be localize in carry - on baggage only . No Apple MacBooks are permitted in hold in in baggage until further notice . ”
